Our Story
From humble beginnings in our grandparents garage, Don and Carol created St. Joseph’s Workshop. Don was the craftsman that created the original designs of the crosses and rosaries and Carol was the heart that fueled the ministry of the Catholic faith to others all across Indiana. Then, it was passed on to our parents, Jeff and Amy Carsten, who founded Immaculate Creations.
Today, we are honored to continue that tradition through Via Crucis created by sisters, Jessie Carsten and Gabby Brouwer. We are grateful to carry this legacy forward and hope that each piece from Via Crucis becomes a meaningful part of your home, your prayer life, and your family.
Who we are
Christ calls us to pick up our cross and follow him. We all have our crosses that we carry and we hope to provide the tools that you need to help grow and strengthen your relationship with God and prepare you for your journey home. This is how we came to the name Via Crucis meaning “The Way of the Cross”.
Our products are thoughtfully made, with the hope that it becomes more than just something beautiful, but a reminder of Christ, his sacrifice, and the faith we are called to live each day.
Our hope is to share the beauty of the Catholic faith through our handmade pieces, whether they are displayed in your home, carried with you, or given as a gift.
